Over the Bridge

Folarin Marinho vanishes on his birthday, in the middle of a major Lagos infrastructure project. As his wife Jumoke searches for him, the film follows a man caught between the pressure of the work, a complicated relationship with a young protégé, and his own unravelling sense of purpose.

A psychological thriller directed by Tolu Ajayi and executive produced by Joke Silva. It opened the New York African Film Festival in 2023, screened at AFRIFF the same year, and won Best Cinematography at the 2024 AMVCAs from twelve nominations.
